Born in 1965 Robert Craig has spent most of his working life entertaining. It has taken many years to find his forté in the impersonation of Mr. Dean Martin. His laid back manner has made him a natural at recreating the easygoing charm and finesse of the much loved Dean Martin. Though not originally Italian speaking Robert has studied the language to enable him to bring an added drama and Italian flavour to his performance. His extensive repertoire of songs including favourites such as Amoré, Everybody Loves Somebody, Volaré, (including Italian lyrics), You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You, Sway, Little Old Wine Drinker, Memories Are Made Of This, Return To Me (part in Italian), and for that special someone Robert can serenade with songs like ‘Come Back To Sorrento' with all the passion and emotion to melt the heart of millions. Just like the master himself Roberts charm and personality appeal to audiences both young and old alike. This show was written by Robert Craig. The show is a new angle on how The Rat Pack may have been if they were alive today. The scene is set with the always visible bar on stage filled with drink, making you feel that you have flown to The Sands Hotel, Vegas. This show then becomes a real live performance. It has been cleverly written to convince the audience that the story is spontaneously unfolding before them. This can be 1 or 2 part show and has many more songs than you would have seen in the West End Show. The show can either be booked with a band or to backing tracks. Robert Craig as Elvis (check the updated gallery for show photos)! This first started when Robert appeared on stage with a dance company in November 2009. He found the transition from Dean Martin to Elvis quite comfortable. He enjoyed it so much and decided to learn some more songs. His repertoire has been selected from most of Elvis’s biggest hits. Robert has worked along side many Elvis tributes and compared them to some of Elvis’s original footage, He now feels he can bring to the stage a little more of the way Elvis performed. The way he phrased his words, the feeling and the movements. Robert has been dancing since an early age and has found this part most enjoyable. Robert can now be booked as an Elvis tribute. A list of the songs can be provided but if you just think of a song its probably one of them. For a great night of entertainment you can now have Dean Martin, Elvis Presley and a professional Dj with full sound system and lighting. Still keeping the high level of excellence without paying for three people. |
